It was a wonderful Wednesday in Room 115 and we spent our second day of school together! 😃
Fire Drill 🚒
We started our day by learning about how we stay safe at school and discussing what to do in case of an emergency. We then participated in our first school-wide fire drill. The children did a fantastic job listening and following directions. I couldn't be more proud of them!
Scissor Salad! 🥗
Today in class the students were introduced to 2 new school tools: scissors and glue sticks! We discussed the procedures for using these tools in class, and then practiced our cutting and gluing by making scissor salads. Yum!
No David! 📖
This afternoon we enjoyed reading the story No, David! By David Shannon. This book was a great conversation starter for the types of behavior that is expected (and unexpected!) at school. We will continue to talk about behavior expectations throughout the year!
