The final countdown is on and I can't believe there are only three and a half days left in the 2023-2024 school year! Boy did this year fly! Please enjoy a few updates, as well as some reminders, from our very busy classroom! 🌞

Water Day Today
A friendly reminder that we will be celebrating the letter W as part of our ABC Countdown to Summer today with water day! We will be learning about the importance of water and it's many uses, as well as have some water fun! You are more than welcome to send an extra set of clothes for your child, although they should not be getting extremely wet. No bathing suits please.
Field Day
Our most exciting end of the year event, Field Day, will take place this Tuesday, June 11th! Please click here for some helpful information about this day. As always, don't hesitate to let me know if your have any questions. 😊
Curriculum Update
ABC Countdown to Summer!
The ABC countdown fun continued last week as we celebrated the letters R, S, T, U, and V with rainbow, stuffed animal, toy, USA, and virtual field trip days! Please enjoy some pictures from these very fun days below.

The students below had fun measuring their toys with non standard units like counters, cubes, and teddy bears! We also enjoyed listening to stories like Too Many Toys by David Shannon, and I Love My New Toy! by Mo Willems.
Virtual Field Trip Day 💻
On Friday our class took a virtual field trip to Disney World! To prepare for our trip, we first completed many Disney themed activities including an addition Write the Room and CVC cut and glue. In the afternoon we enjoyed going on virtual rides like Splash Mountain and even got to travel around Boyden collecting character autographs!
