Go Pats!
Our week started off on a high note as we celebrated the Patriot's big Superbowl win! We couldn't be more proud of our home team! GO PATS!

Hip Hip Hooray for the 100th Day!
The excitement in Room 202 continued as we celebrated the 100th day of school on Monday! The children had a fantastic time completing many 100th Day activities which included counting to 100 by 1s, 2s, and 10s!

 Literacy
Last week in Literacy we read the story Hide Clyde! by Russell Benfanti and discussed the question, "How do chameleons change?". We continued to practice reading the sight words of, you, and they, and learned about the letter O!

Making a sight word octopus was one of the many highlights of "O" week!

The children also enjoyed completing many new activities at center time which included making pictures with sight word sticks, and building sight words with alphabet beads!

Mrs. Love Visits!
We enjoyed having Mrs. Love visit our classroom last week and teach us many new hand strengthening exercises using putty!

Thanks so much for taking a peek at our week! I hope everyone stays warm and dry this weekend!
