A Peek At Our Week!

Capron Park Zoo Field Trip

A friendly reminder that our class will be traveling to Capron Park Zoo on Friday, June 9th. Your child will be bringing home a notice with helpful hints and friendly reminders tomorrow (Monday) so be on the lookout! Also, if you would like your child to order a bagged lunch from the cafeteria, please send in their order form ASAP! Thank you!!

ABC Countdown

It was another busy week for our ABC Countdown to Summer! Last week the class enjoyed outside, Play doh, question, and relay race/rainbow days. Please enjoy a few pictures from our fun (and also educational!) activities.

Outside Day

It was a beautiful day to be outside as we celebrated the letter O! The class enjoyed a fun nature walk and used their "cameras" to take pictures of things they saw on their trip. They also compared the items they drew and wrote about as "living" vs. "non living".

Play doh Day

Play doh day was full of fun and lots of learning too! The students used Play doh to practice subtraction and sight words! They also used Model Magic (a close cousin of Play doh) to make and write about a special creation they made.

Question Day?????

Was question day so much fun? Yes it was! Along with reviewing what questions are, the students also wrote their own yes or no questions. We then got together with the other Kindergarten classes so that the children could ask their question to others and graph their answers.

Relay Race and Rainbow Day 🌈

Our day started with some extra fun relay races. We enjoyed joining Ms. Ahearn's first grade class to make the occasion even more special! We then spent the afternoon learning about and drawing rainbows.
